Originally set in an unconventional office space, The Museum of Clunky Objects highlights the “in-between states” and material challenges of the creative process. Rather than following the formal conventions of a traditional museum, the project treats art-making as a continuous, open-ended activity.

This online iteration extends that inquiry by treating digital documentation as a raw art material. Much like how the physical artwork makes use of studio remnants (such as Dodds’ incorporation of of discarded oil paint and  Brown’s use of scrap wood blocks), the photographic records are reworked and transformed into new creative forms. This digital space acts as a non-linear site of “becoming” where documentation is not a final record, but a catalyst for discovering new possibilities.
